Aquablast's New Superstripper Takes Everything Off. Fast!!
Aquablast's new patent-pending Superstripper is the most powerful hand-held
dust-free abrasive blasting tool ever produced.
The power of Ultra High Pressure Water and the amazing efficiency of the
Aquablaster pressurised wet abrasive system - both award-winning Aquablast technologies -
are combined to produce the ultimate in hand-held blasting productivity and environmental
compliance.
This new patent-pending tool has the potential to revolutionise hand-held
steel surface preparation.

Low operator reaction force |
| |
• |
Very low reaction force |
| |
• |
No "tumble box" to hinder blaster |
| |
• |
80% water saving on hydroblasting |
| |
• |
Makes garnet highly cost-effective |

Superstripper is a unique combination of pressurised low volume wet blasting
and low volume UHP water abrasive velocities of almost 1200 metres/second are
achieved and abrasive disposal is more than halved.
Superstripper will change the way you look at blasting. |

Superstripper will change the way you look at blasting.
Trials at Dubai Dryrocks and Rotterdam United Dockyards recently demonstrated
to the ship repair industry the true power of the system.
On a typical vessel hull at Dubai and a large heavily-rusted dock gate in
Rotterdam, Superstripper was set alongside open dry copper slag blasters who
were averaging 10 m2 per hour, consuming 45 Kgs of copper slag per square metre.
Superstripper averaged 22 square metres per hour, consuming a miserly 15 Kgs
of almandite garnet per square metre.
As abrasive disposal costs continue to escalate, the savings on this alone
would justify the system, but adding in the vastly increased blasting performance
and the elimination of dust, it is hardly surprising that Superstripper achieves
a lower overall cost per square metre. Superstripper is faster, cleaner and cheaper
than open dry blasting.
Abrasive delivery vessels come in 100, 200 and 600 litre sizes - the 600 litre pot
will run for almost five hours.
Superstripper can access difficult areas - with greater flexibility than UHP and
better visibility than dry grit blasting. These encapsulated sections of the Forth
Rail Bridge were blasted at high speed to SA 2.5 complete with new 100 micron profile
and chemically clean to less than 10 microgrammes per square centimetre.
