Aquablast has over three decades of experience cold-cutting safely and precisely in almost any material in any direction or orientation and almost any thickness.
With up to 90,000 psi (6,200 bar) ultra high pressure (UHP) capability Aquablast can cut many items incredibly quickly and accurately with a low-volume, water-only, supersonic waterjet – materials like plastics; rubber; fabrics and even materials like plywood, plasterboard and food products.
Introducing a dense abrasive such as almandite garnet into the waterjet and there is virtually no material which cannot be precisely cut with no heat affected zone and no change to the material characteristics. In the field, onshore and offshore, abrasive waterjets can be deployed on guide tracks which can be magnetically, mechanically, or pneumatically mounted horizontally, vertically — even inverted underwater — and in any weather conditions and any volatile atmosphere with complete safety,

In our machine shop, Aquablast operates a 4m x 1.5m cutting bed with laser mapping and a mid-rail gantry CNC controlled 5-axis cutting head – ideal for cutting bevels for weld preparation, for example, or cutting countersinks or angled sides.
