Wimbledon logo set in stone
As part of the re-development of Court No. 1 at the All England Tennis Club in Wimbledon, a large slab incorporating the Wimbledon Championship’s famous logo has been set into the ground.
The square slab, created from 75mm travertine, required precise trimming on site to allow fitting. Aquablast was called in to make the required cuts with as little dust and disruption as possible because of the very tight space available at the rear of No. 1 Court.

A two-man crew set up an Aquablast abrasive waterjet mobile package and were off site within four hours. The new logo fitted like a glove.
