Unique, eco-friendly disposal process for end-of-life rubber tracks
A technology spin-off from Aquablast is a UHP waterjet process for the complete recycling of end-of-life composite rubber/steel excavator tracks.
There has so far been no solution to the increasing worldwide problem of scrap rubber track disposal. The award-winning “Recyclatrack©” UHP waterjet fully sustainable process separates the rubber from the steel track skeleton.
Steel is sold as high-grade scrap and the rubber, which is recovered as very clean fine granulate and powder particles, has many applications as a filler or re-manufacture in a wide range of rubber compounding processes. Even the water is recycled.
