Aquablast has the environmentally friendly answers to today’s surface preparation problems and high pressure water jetting requirements.
Typical applications are the removal of rust and scale on offshore oil and gas platforms, ships and petro-chemical infrastructure as an alternative to open dry abrasive grit blasting which creates polluting dust and is expensive to clean up and dispose of. We offer remote-controlled robotic options for large-scale surface preparation such as vessel hulls and decks.

Low Volume, Supersonic Waterjetting
With the highest pressures available in the waterjetting sector, Aquablast’s UHP pumpsets with bespoke application tooling manufactured in-house successfully remove “impossible” deposits from heat exchanger tubes, tanks and industrial pipework and many other unusual applications.
At our own facilities we strip to bare metal a steady stream of oil industry, machinery and engine components from customers who will not use abrasives because it would seriously damage precision machined surfaces.
We regularly remove thickly-applied marine epoxy fairing on superyachts which have suffered cracking.
The original blast profile on the steel is exposed, salt-free for the re-application of primer, but there is no dust, hundreds of tons of abrasive is saved and clean-up time and disposal costs are much reduced.

In house, Aquablast has a 4m x 1.5m 5-axis CNC Jet Edge cutting table with laser mapping which can precision cut almost any material up to at least 100mm thick – all types of steel and alloys, rubber, plastic, composite materials and we have wide experience profiling ceramics and all kinds of stone.
